1. On 11/27/2007, an on-going investigation, conducted by State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force and the State Police New Haven Initiative, along with members of the New Haven Police, concerning drug dealing within the City of New Haven led to the execution of a search warrant at 144 Lloyd Street, 1st floor, New Haven. Upon the execution of the search warrant and the arrival of the members of the Task Force, the suspect of this investigation was observed throwing an object which was subsequently recovered from the front yard of the residence by members of the task force and discovered to be approximately 1 gram of crack cocaine. 

Arrested:   Gilbert Ortiz, DOB 09-14-84, of 144 Lloyd Street, 1st Floor, New Haven, was arrested for Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Crack Cocaine within 1500’ of a School.  The result of this investigation will help improve the quality of life in this New Haven neighborhood.

2. On 11/27/2007, an on-going investigation, conducted by State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force, the State Police New Haven Initiative and members of the New Haven Police, concerning drug dealing within the City of New Haven led to the execution of a search warrant at 14 Stevens Street, 2nd floor, New Haven.  Seized from the residence was approximately 1.6 grams of crack cocaine and packaging materials.

Arrested: Ronald Carr, DOB 05-04-88, of 14 Stevens Street, 2nd Floor, New Haven, was arrested for Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine W.I.T.S., and Possession of Crack Cocaine within 1500’ of a School, Possession of Crack Cocaine W.I.T.S. within 1500’ of a School and Tampering with Evidence.  This investigation will help improve the quality of life in this New Haven neighborhood.

3. On 11/27/2007, an on-going investigation, conducted by State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force, the State Police New Haven Initiative and members of the New Haven Police, concerning drug dealing within the City of New Haven led to the execution of a search warrant at 1495 Ella Grasso Boulevard, 2nd floor, New Haven.  Seized from the residence were approximately 453 grams of crack cocaine (street value approx. $50,000), 6.5 grams of marijuana, one Taurus .357 magnum 7 shot revolver, $6,737 in cash and scales and packaging materials. 

Arrested: Terrell Howard, DOB 01-05-77, of 1495 Ella Grasso Boulevard, 2nd Floor, New Haven, was arrested for Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine W.I.T.S., Possession of Crack Cocaine within 1500’ of a School, Possession of Crack Cocaine W.I.T.S. within 1500’ of a School, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana within 1500’ of a School, Operating a Drug Factory and Criminal Possession of a Firearm.  This investigation will help improve the quality of life in this New Haven neighborhood.

4. On 11/27/2007, an on-going investigation, conducted by State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force, the State Police New Haven Initiative and members of the New Haven Police, concerning drug dealing within the City of New Haven led to an on-site arrest near 161 Dewitt Street, New Haven.  Seized was approximately 60.2 grams of crack cocaine (Street value approx. $6,020) and $594 in cash. 

Arrested: Jared Butler, DOB 03-11-86, of 180 Kimberly Avenue, New Haven, was arrested for Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine W.I.T.S., and Possession of Crack Cocaine within 1500’ of a School and Possession of Crack Cocaine W.I.T.S. within 1500’ of a School.  This investigation will help improve the quality of life in this New Haven neighborhood.
