Today 06/13/07 at approximately 1:51 pm Plainfield Police received a report of a Bank Robbery at the Eastern Federal Bank located at 14 Lathrop Rd. Plainfield, CT.

   Plainfield Police Officers responded secured the scene initiated a search and began a criminal investigation into this bank robbery

   The State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad was requested by Plainfield Police to respond to assist in this robbery investigation.

   State Police Detectives processed the crime scene gathering physical and forensic evidence in this case.  There were no reported injuries in this robbery. 

   The suspect in this robbery was described as a white male with dark hair wearing a baseball cap.
