                                     STATEWIDE NARCOTICS TASK FORCE 

                                         MAKES ARREST IN NEW HAVEN

On 02/08/06 after an extensive narcotics investigation by the State Police STATEWIDE NARCOTICS TASK FORCE a search and seizure warrant was executed at 489 Edgewood Ave. in New Haven.

On 02/08/06 at about 3:30 p.m. State Police Statewide Narcotics Detectives assisted by the New Haven Police arrived at the Edgewood Ave address to execute the search warrants in this investigation.

Detectives located the accused in the front of his residence and took him into custody.  At that time the accused was in possession of numerous street sale packets of crack cocaine.

Investigators conducted a search of the suspect’s residence and did locate additional packets of street sale crack cocaine.

The accused was transported by Detectives to Union Ave Detention Center where he was processed and held on $400,000 bond for appearance in Superior Court on 02/09/06.

ACCUSED: MOORE, Troy      DOB: 4/23/68

                    489 Edgewood Ave.

                    New Haven, CT.

CHARGES: Possession of narcotics, Possession of narcotics with intent to sell, Possession of narcotics within 1500 feet of a school, Sale of narcotics (3counts) 

The accused is employed by the City of New Haven. He will appear in Superior court in New Haven today 02/09/06.
