BANK ROBBERY AT PEOPLE'S BANK BANCH IN PUTNAM
On 07-25-2006 at approximately 4:45 PM State Police Troop D Danielson received a 911 call from the People's Bank Branch located at the Stop and Shop 60 Providence Pike Putnam, Ct. The caller reported that the bank had been robbed by a lone male. A weapon was implied but not shown. There were no injuries during the commission of the robbery. Troopers responded secured the scene and searched the area for the suspect.
The Suspect is described as a White male mid 20’s,  6’0" 150-165 lbs, thin build, with a narrow face and nose, wearing a green colored mechanic type of two piece work suit with a white colored patch of the left chest.  Suspect fled the scene as a passenger in a red compact sedan north on Rt. 395.
