Enhanced 9-1-1 Commission
The E9-1-1 Commission was established by Connecticut General Statutes Section 28-29a to advise DSET in the planning, design, implementation and coordination of the statewide emergency 9-1-1 telephone system.Enhanced 9-1-1 Commission Members

Public Act 22-47 AN ACT CONCERNING CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH was signed into law May 23, 2022. It includes language specific to emergency telecommunications including:
Beginning 10/1/22 Membership on the 911 Commission will include 3 new representatives they are:- the Commissioner of Public Health, or designee; (this is in addition to the OEMS rep);
- the Commissioner of Mental Health and Addiction Services, or designee; and
- the Commissioner of Children and Families, or designee.
