Minutes of Meeting
September 13, 2012

The Criminal Justice Commission met on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney in Rocky Hill for the purpose of conducting interviews for the appointment of Deputy Assistant State’s Attorney for the Civil Litigation Bureau at the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney; and any other business to come before the Commission.

The following members were present: Justice Richard N. Palmer, Chairperson, Judge Juliett L. Crawford, Attorney Maura H. Horan, Attorney Moy Ogilvie and Chief State’s Attorney Kevin T. Kane. Also present: Deputy Chief State’s Attorney Leonard C. Boyle, Supervisory Assistant State’s Attorney Jo Anne Sulik and Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist Ngina Gibson.

The meeting, which was open to the public, commenced at 9:15 a.m. in the conference room. Judge Crawford made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of September 6, 2012. The motion was seconded by Attorney Ogilvie and passed unanimously.

Beginning at approximately 9:17 a.m., the Commission interviewed the following attorneys: Marcia Pillsbury, Thomas Noonan, Richard Greenalch, Tamara Grosso and Yamini Menon.

At approximately 11:35 a.m., Attorney Horan made a motion to go into executive session. The motion was seconded by Attorney Ogilvie and passed unanimously.

The Commission resumed its public meeting at approximately 12:12 p.m. and appointed Attorney Tamara Grosso as Deputy Assistant State’s Attorney for the Civil Litigation Bureau at the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately12:15 p.m.
