Minutes of Meeting
December 13, 2012

The Criminal Justice Commission met on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney in Rocky Hill for the purpose of conducting interviews for the appointment of Deputy Assistant State’s Attorney for the Government Program Fraud Bureau at the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney; and any other business to come before the Commission.

The following members were present: Justice Richard N. Palmer, Chairperson, Judge Juliett L. Crawford, Attorney Mary M. Galvin, Attorney Maura H. Horan, Attorney Moy Ogilvie and Chief State’s Attorney Kevin T. Kane. Also present: Deputy Chief State’s Attorney Leonard C. Boyle and Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist Ngina Gibson.

The meeting, which was open to the public, commenced at 9:10 a.m. in the conference room. Attorney Horan made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of September 13, 2012. The motion was seconded by Attorney Galvin and passed unanimously.

Beginning at approximately 9:16 a.m., the Commission interviewed the following attorneys: David Cordone, Dennis Durao, Steven Lesko, Marcia Pillsbury and Jaclyn Preville.

At approximately 11:25 a.m., Attorney Horan made a motion to go into executive session. The motion was seconded by Judge Crawford and passed unanimously.

The Commission resumed its public meeting at approximately 11:40 a.m. and appointed Attorney Marcia Pillsbury as Deputy Assistant State’s Attorney for the Government Program Fraud Bureau at the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 11:42 a.m.
