What role will Connecticut agencies play in the Equity Study?
There are 23 executive branch agencies in Connecticut. All of these agencies are participating in the Equity Study. Their goal is to identify and remedy equity gaps in the state.
Agencies will provide relevant information through interviews. For example, this may include information about equity initiatives, community partnerships, and data collection and use practices. Each agency will also select one program for deeper evaluation. The Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) and Faulkner Consulting Group (FCG) are working with agencies to set up interviews and identify programs for evaluation.
