CHRO

We’re telling the story of how business is done in Connecticut.

Government isn’t for the people unless it involves all of us — no matter our background.

We’re taking a closer look at how business is done in Connecticut so we can help make it better. The Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities has partnered with the legal firm Griffin & Strong, P.C. to conduct a disparity study and make sure all businesses have an equal opportunity to work with the State.

About the Study

CHRO’s mission is to eliminate discrimination and establish equal opportunities for all citizens.

The State of Connecticut has placed a priority on equality in its business practices. The disparity study will examine whether Connecticut's procurement program achieves the State’s goal of identifying and hiring small contractors and minority business enterprises and will be completed by 2024.
