Marcus Schmalbach (MBA, PhD), is Founder and CEO of RYSKEX GmbH headquartered in New York City, USA. He has a long-standing experience in risk and insurance management in various industries. Before the founding of RYSKEX, Marcus was Head of the German MBA program in Munich, Germany. He is also a professor at ESCP Business School, Berlin, on innovation matters with a research focus on parametric solutions, blockchain technology and deep learning (AI). Previously, Marcus worked for Allianz SE, Marsh & McLennan Companies and completed his doctorate on captive insurance companies in cooperation with Munich Re America in New York City.
