Fire Service Instructor Development Seminar

The Connecticut Fire Academy presents the 2016 Fire Service Instructor Development Seminar Saturday, May 21, 2016 8:30-4:30. The presentation is entitled Drill Ground Instructor Academy delivered by Deputy Fire Marshal Bill Hopson with the Ocean County, NJ Office of the Fire Marshal.

The Drill Ground Instructor Academy program specifically focuses on improving the individual participants overall capabilities in the following areas: Creating realistic blocks of Drill Ground Instruction; selecting credible instructors; ethics, integrity and certification and accepting the role of the Drill Ground Instructor.

The Drill Ground Instructor Academy, instructor development course is a highly interactive and fast paced presentation which is specifically designed to improve the overall efficiency and competency of the active Drill Ground Instructor.

The seminar is intended for fire department training officers, company training officers, and certified fire service instructors.

The presentation will be held at the Connecticut Fire Academy. The course number is 16273 and the course fee is $40.00, with lunch included.
