Connecticut’s Rapid Connectivity Deployment Group

The Governor’s Rapid Connectivity Deployment Group (RCDG) is working to rapidly deploy connectivity solutions, including both broadband and cellular, to Connecticut residents lacking adequate internet access. Through developing and executing both short- and long-term solutions, the working group aims to eliminate the State’s digital divide, which has been illuminated and exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis. The group, led by the Office of the Governor, consists of statewide leaders in broadband & cellular expansion, economic & workforce development, and education technology. For more information on the Rapid Connectivity Deployment Group, please contact Nick Simmons, the Governor’s Manager of Strategic Initiatives, at nick.simmons@ct.gov.
