Video Conferencing

Overview

The Department of Administrative Services Bureau of Enterprise Systems and Technology’s (DAS/BEST) Unified Communications Division provides next-generation video teleconferencing services for Executive Branch agencies that are maintained in the State’s secure Data Centers. Features of the platform include the ability to facilitate remote presentations, immediately share content and collaborate with colleagues across multiple geographic locations. Connectivity can be established across a variety of devices, including:

  • Room Systems

 
Intended for the purpose of providing audio and video collaboration in conference rooms and offices, fixed room systems allows people to connect with remote participants who are in other state buildings or connected by mobile devices or and the internet.

  • Desktop and Mobile Devices

 
The next-generation video conferencing platform allows people to connect with desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices.
