A Look at How We Work Together

All Connecticut residents have the right to equal opportunities without discrimination or inequality. The state’s equity study will help guide Connecticut on a better path forward.

About the Study

The goal of the equity study is to make sure Connecticut’s programs and policies are fair. The Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO), the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), and the Office of Policy and Management (OPM) have partnered with Faulkner Consulting Group (FCG) to conduct an equity study across state agencies.

We want to learn about what’s happening in our state and create a better CT for everyone. The study will provide a report on state programs and policies to:

• Identify any patterns of discrimination, inequality, or disparities in outcomes
• Make recommendations to solve those problems and avoid future discrimination
