Research

DMHAS has had a longstanding partnership with Yale University’s Program for Recovery and Community Health (PRCH) since 2000 that focuses on transforming behavioral health services in Connecticut to more recovery-orientated, person-centered, and culturally responsive system of care. This collaboration over the years has yielded tools like Recovery Self-Assessment and Practice guidelines for recovery-oriented behavioral healthcare, Recovery Institute, Heath Disparities Institute, Art Show project, Imani Breakthrough Project, and other ongoing research projects. Current research projects in collaboration with OMHE and PRCH include program evaluations of our DEI training and Champions program.
