Gillette Castle State Park

East Haddam

 The Gillette Castle State Park grounds, trails and restrooms are open daily from 8am - sunset year-round.  The interior of the Castle is only accessible during scheduled tours.  

Castle tour tickets are required for all visitors looking to tour the interior of the Castle.  Our current tour schedule and ticket prices are available at this link.  

 

It looks like a medieval fortress, but a step inside the stone castle reveals the built-in couches, table trackway, and woodcarvings that all point to the creative genius that was William Gillette.
