(Hartford, CT) – The Regionalized Human Trafficking Recovery Taskforce of the Greater Hartford Region will be holding an online training seminar titled “Understanding & Responding to the Trafficking of Boys & Men,” on January 29, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Facilitated by Nathan Earl, the webinar is designed to highlight the critical gaps in current responses to trafficking and to inspire community engagement. The seminar is one of a series of events being held this month throughout the state marking National Human Trafficking Prevention Month.
The Regionalized Human Trafficking Recovery Taskforce of the Greater Hartford Region is a collaboration between the Hartford State’s Attorney’s Office, led by Hartford State’s Attorney Sharmese L. Walcott, and the Connecticut Children’s Alliance (CCA), which is led by Krystal Rich, Executive Director of CCA. The mission of the taskforce is to end human trafficking in the region through a multidisciplinary response to both sex and labor trafficking cases. It is funded, in part, through the United States Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime.
