Secretary Thomas Reminds Voters Polls Will Be Open Tomorrow for Special Elections
(Hartford, CT) – Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas today reminded voters in Hartford, Middletown, Stamford, and West Hartford that polls will be open for tomorrow’s special elections for state representative seats in the 6th, 100th, and 148th House districts.
The day of the election, as well as the hours and locations of polling locations will not be affected by the forecasted weather.
“Special elections are just as important as any November election,” Thomas said. “The individuals who will be elected tomorrow will represent you for nearly two years on issues critical to the future of our state. Be sure to go vote and make your voice heard.”
Secretary Thomas also urged voters to exercise caution while traveling to polls, which will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. tomorrow.
Results from the election will be available on the Office of the Secretary of the State’s homepage once results have been reported by the registrars following the close of polls. To find polling locations, visit myvote.ct.gov/lookup.
