Governor Lamont Signs Legislation Allowing Relaxed Rules for Outdoor Dining at Restaurants To Continue for Another 13 Months
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he has signed into law legislation (House Bill 5271) allowing the relaxed rules on outdoor dining at restaurants that he established in response to the initial outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic to continue for at least another 13 months.

Governor Ned Lamont today announced that his administration has reached an agreement with Lockheed Martin that may bring potential new helicopter lines to Sikorsky’s Stratford facility, sustain more than 7,000 jobs, and keep Sikorsky’s headquarters in Connecticut through 2042.

Governor Lamont Announces $1.3 Million in State Funding To Create a Business Incubator Focused on Job Growth in the New London Region
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that the Connecticut State Bond Commission is anticipated to approve an allocation of $1.3 million in state funding to support the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut in its creation of the Thames River Innovation Center, which will be located at 92 Eugene O’Neill Drive in New London and will provide businesses and workers in the region with an innovation center and co-working space.
