Governor Lamont: Flags Lowered To Half-Staff in Remembrance of the Victims of the Tragedy in Atlanta
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that – in accordance with a proclamation from President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. directing flags to be lowered throughout the country as a mark of solemn respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on March 16 in the Atlanta metropolitan area – he is directing U.S. and state flags in Connecticut to fly at half-staff beginning immediately until sunset on Monday, March 22, 2021.

Governor Lamont, Mohegan Tribe, and Mashantucket Pequot Tribe Reach Agreement on the Modernization of Gaming in Connecticut
Governor Ned Lamont, Mashantucket Pequot Tribe Chairman Rodney Butler, and Mohegan Tribe Chairman James Gessner Jr. today announced that an agreement has been reached between the Lamont administration and both tribes that will allow the State of Connecticut to modernize gaming options available to state residents, including allowing for sports wagering and online gaming.
