Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he has received the final report from the independent consulting group that was selected to provide his administration and the members of the Connecticut General Assembly with an extensive analysis of opportunities to improve efficiency within state government and maintain continuity of critical services in light of an anticipated wave of retirements among state employees by July 2022.

Governor Lamont Announces Funding To Integrate Remaining Electronic Health Records With Prescription Drug Monitoring Program
Governor Ned Lamont and Consumer Protection Commissioner Michelle Seagull today announced that the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection’s Drug Control Division has received $1.3 million in funding through the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to provide free access to a Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) Gateway for prescribers and pharmacists.

Governor Lamont: Flags Lowered To Half-Staff in Remembrance of the Victims of the Mass Shooting in Colorado
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that – in accordance with a proclamation from President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. directing flags to be lowered throughout the country as a mark of solemn respect for the victims of the mass shooting yesterday in Boulder, Colorado – he is directing U.S. and state flags in Connecticut to fly at half-staff beginning immediately until sunset on Saturday, March 27, 2021.
