Governor Lamont Announces Workers’ Compensation Rates Will Decrease in 2023
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that Connecticut businesses will see another rate decrease in workers’ compensation insurance beginning on January 1, 2023. The Connecticut Insurance Department has approved an annual filing with decreases of 3% to workers’ compensation pure premium loss costs.

Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he is directing U.S. and state flags in Connecticut lowered to half-staff in honor of two officers from the Bristol Police Department who were shot and killed in the line of duty late last night while responding to a domestic violence situation involving family at a private residence in Bristol.

Governor Lamont Receives Omicron Bivalent COVID-19 Booster and Flu Shot, Encourages Connecticut Residents To Get the Added Protection as Winter Approaches
Governor Ned Lamont today visited a Connecticut Department of Public Health mobile vaccination van clinic in Hartford, where he was administered a dose of the recently authorized bivalent COVID-19 vaccine booster, which is designed to add protection against the Omicron variants of the virus and bolster previous vaccination protection. He also received his annual flu shot during the visit.
