Welcome to the Connecticut Department of Social Services’ Human Resources website.  You will be able to search for job opportunities, obtain information about current State of Connecticut benefit packages, obtain orientation packets for the Department of Social Services new hires, and link to other State websites.

Human Resources administers a full range of human resource services to include labor relations, recruitment, retention, promotion and advancement of all DSS staff.  The Division is responsible for providing benefit administration to include Workers’ Compensation, FMLA, Workplace Violence Prevention and Payroll services to over 1900 employees throughout the State.  Our Human Resource Specialists are located throughout our twelve (12) Field Office locations on a rotating basis, as well as our Central Office location.
