COVID-19 Community Levels Map Update, Feb. 3, 2023: The CDC has listed all eight Connecticut Counties in the Medium/Yellow category.  The Connecticut Department of Public Health recommends that all residents consider wearing a mask in public indoor spaces. People who are at high risk for severe illness should consider additional measures to minimize their exposure to COVID-19 and respiratory illnesses. Out-of-State Licensees and Telehealth

Notwithstanding the provisions of section 1 of public act 21-9 and section 19a-906 of the general statutes, prior to July 1, 2024, a person who is appropriately licensed as a social worker in another state or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia may provide telehealth services to a resident of another state while such resident is in Connecticut, provided the social worker has a preexisting professional relationship with such resident.

There is no application or other notification to the Department while treating the person located in Connecticut.
