Work time requirements under the Connecticut SLRP program are as follow:

  • Minimum of 40 hours per week of patient care, with no more than 8 of those hours devoted to practice-related administrative activities.

  • At least 4 days per week must be worked, with no more than 12 hours of work performed in any 24-hour period. Time spent in “on-call” status will not count toward the 40-hour work week. Hours worked over the required 40 hours per week will not be applied to any other work week.

  • OB/GYN and CNM practitioners are expected to provide ambulatory care services at the approved practice site for no less than 21 hours per week. The remaining hours should be spent providing inpatient care at the approved service site, and/or in practice-related administrative activities. Administrative activities must not exceed 8 hours per week.
