Qualifying Educational Loans:
Connecticut SLRP qualifying educational loans consist of the principal, interest and related expenses on a government and/or commercial loan received by the clinician to pay for tuition and reasonable educational and living expenses related to the undergraduate or graduate education of the participant.
Allowable Repayment Amounts:
- Primary Care Clinicians: $15,000 per year, for up to four (4) years.
- Registered Nurses:
- Year One: $10,000;
- Year Two: $12,500;
- Extension: $15,000 per year, for up to two (2) years.
- The amount awarded to individual clinicians will not exceed their outstanding loan indebtedness, and may be less than the cap amount listed above.
