The goal is to educate, train, and encourage the appropriate diagnosis and management of asthma by health professionals, by incorporating “best practices“ consistent with National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP) guidelines.
 

Easy Breathing Program

ccmc logoThe CT Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) Asthma Center began the Pediatric Easy Breathing Program, a copyrighted asthma clinical management program based on National Asthma Education Prevention Program (NAEPP) Guidelines. It is a professional education program that trains pediatric providers to determine asthma severity, utilize treatment protocol guidelines for determining proper therapy, and to develop individual treatment plans.

 

Easy Breathing for Adults                              

The Easy Breathing for Adults Program is a professional education program that trains internal medicine residents in evidenced-based as well as systems-based medicine. The program promotes documented adherence by physicians to the National Institutes of Health’s, National Asthma Education and Prevention Program’s (NAEPP) diagnosis and treatment guidelines.
