Acting through the Department of Housing (DOH) and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA), the State of Connecticut has created the Temporary Rental Housing Assistance Program to respond to the housing issues associated with the advent of COVID-19. The Human Resources Unit's core business functions include employment, job classification, affirmative action, wage and benefits administration, employee relations, contract administration, staff development and workplace safety. In addition, the unit works with other State agencies, universities and community colleges, and community organizations in its efforts to develop and maintain a diverse workforce.
