Hammonasset Beach State Park
In response to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency and due to challenges in maintaining appropriate social distancing, the boardwalk at Hammonasset Beach State Park, the Fishermen's Parking Lot and ramp to the Meigs bathhouse are CLOSED.
Night Fishing access is unavailable at Hammonasset Beach State Park and will remain so until the campground is open for the season, potentially scheduled for June 12, 2020.
A visit to Hammonasset Beach State Park, is more than just another day at the beach. Connecticut's largest shoreline park offers over 2 miles of beach to enjoy swimming, strolling along the boardwalk, or just relaxing in the sun and surf.
