SAFETY ALERT

This Safety Alert is to advise of a potential health hazard related to the consumption of cantaloupe from Argentina. See the attached documents provided by the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Products identified in the attached documents may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Please ensure those responsible for food shopping and preparation are aware of this safety alert. Also review your food stores to determine whether or not the identified products are present. If the identified products are present, address appropriately.
