Less Restrictive COVID Rules for Businesses Now in Effect
On March 19, 2021, Governor Lamont announced new relaxed Sector Rules for businesses that eased many of the COVID restrictions and moved Connecticut closer to reopening.
General recommendations for social distancing and face coverings remain in place, but several important limitations have been lifted, including:
- Business capacity limits are now 100%, subject to social distancing requirements.
- Sports, gyms, and fitness centers are open as normal with some distancing required.
- Restaurants can open until 11pm with an 8-person per table capacity.
