Purpose and Scope

The CHRO website is provided as a public service. The site is managed by a CHRO Website Management Committee. This committee is under the supervision of the Office of the Executive Director at the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.

The goals for the development of this site are:

  • To improve public access to information, programs and services related to the mandate and mission of the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities;
  • To provide a mechanism for the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities to become more efficient, effective, and responsive to the public through the use of online communications;
  • To provide a tool to improve cross-agency or cross-boundary organizational collaboration activity on issues related to the mandate and mission of the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.
