Von Wettberg Pond is a small one acre water body in Oxford, CT.  There is a scenic walking trail that loops around the pond with no public boating access.  Our CAES IAPP 2015 aquatic plant survey found 6 native species and no invasive species.  Eleocharis species (spike rush) and Myriophyllum humile (low watermilfoil) both low lying plants were the most frequently found species.  No vegetation appeared to be a nuisance. The water had a slight blue-green coloration but no algal bloom was apparent.
