The meeting will be at BESB in Windsor and will begin at 11:00am. A meeting for NP-2 employees within the Department of Transportation who are targeted for layoff but have NO BUMPING rights has been scheduled for Thursday January 2, 2003. The meeting will be at CEUI Headquarters in Middletown and will begin at 8:30am. Agencies who did not attend the December 18, 2002 meeting for NP-2 employees with NO bumping options may attend either the December 27th or January 2nd meeting. Agencies choosing to attend either of these meetings should have one or more Human Resources representative present and it is recommended that each Agency fill out as much information on the layoff package as possible for each employee before the meeting. The packages are available from the Department of Administrative Services by contacting David Lynn at (860) 713-5107 or e-mail HYPERLINK "mailto:dave.lynn@po.state.ct.us" dave.lynn@po.state.ct.us. Employees will then be given their individual packages to complete during the meeting. As soon as possible, please provide Christine Cieplinski at the Office of Labor Relations [(860) 418-6321 or HYPERLINK "mailto:christine.cieplinski@po.state.ct.us" christine.cieplinski@po.state.ct.us] with the number of employees from your agency who will be attending the meetings. The Agency representative who attends the meeting should have a list by name of all employees on the day of the meeting. Meetings for employees who DO HAVE bumping rights should be set up SEPARATELY by each Agency. Employees will only be paid for time in attendance at the meeting.
