Administration of Dental Anesthesia and Consious Sedation

A Connecticut licensed dentist may use general anesthesia or conscious sedation by intravenous injection on any patient provided such dentist has a permit issued by the Department.  There are two types of permits: Permit for the Administration of General Anesthesia and Conscious Sedation and Permit for the Administration of Parenteral Conscious Sedation.
