Overview
A learning management system (LMS) is software for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, and delivery of courses or training programs. It is used for eLearning online and can be used to schedule and track instructor lead training.
The State of Connecticut has two enterprise options.
Software as a Service (SaaS) called Saba Cloud is utilized by multiple agencies and is supported by the Saba vendor.
The Connecticut Education Academy is a state funded initiative for Statewide mandatory training and can also be used for tracking and delivery of agency training. It is supported by the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium (CTDLC). For more information, go to www.academy.ct.gov.
